Pro tip: Booking online is the easiest way to reserve your "me time" — especially for services like balayage, luxury blowouts, or hair color transformations. For our more detailed makeover appts, like Hair extensions & Color Corrections, etc.

We kindly ask to reserve a consultation so we can get a game plan together and discuss all the details prior to scheduling your service appt.

Balayage is an art — and at Verabella Salon + Beauty Bar, we never rush a masterpiece. Depending on your hair length, texture, and desired look, most balayage appointments take anywhere from 2.5 to 4 hours. This includes your custom color consultation, application, toning, mini massage and a luxury blowout to finish. In this time-frame we can typically create a balayage touchup, or a full on new look for a new season or special event!

If we are creating a full makeover or transformation, that typically requires a full base-color shift as well as a full balayage.

Please be prepared for a slightly longer session unless you're fine with breaking it up into smaller appts.

D is why its important to discuss our options ahead of time to determine what direction we want to go with our appt and fine-tune everything to what is comfortable for you. Another consideration when it comes to appt timing is; your current look vs your desired look- Do you have dark box color on your hair?

Or a dark natural color when you desire to be much that is going to take a while to lighten? Pro tip: Book ahead so we can chat through your hair goals in advance and prep the perfect plan for your dream hair day.

If we are creating a full makeover or transformation Hair Color, that typically requires a full base-color shift (adding depth or lightening) as well as a full balayage color/highlight in addition to a Toner or all over glaze as well. These services create dimension and soften the grow-out and blend the finished look. Make sure you're prepared for a longer session up to 6+ hours in some cases, unless you're fine with breaking it up into smaller appts.

This option allows us to achieve our hair goals without the lengthy appt.

Which is why it's important to discuss our options ahead of time to determine a clear direction for our Color Transformation Appt-

We will decide together & fine-tune everything to determine what is comfortable for you.

Another consideration to keep in mind, your current look vs your desired look and what the process entails.. (For Example)

Do you have dark box color on your hair? This can create more steps and longer appts as well.

If so, I will preform a test strand- due to box color being highly unpredictable.. we need to see how this artificial pigment responds to our lightening agents, timing for lift, and how the hair responds to lifting (The integrity of the hair).

At this point of the process we also determine whether a separate solution is needed, a gentle Color Remover/ Color Prep Treatment, etc.

The Test Strand Results and the Hair's Integrity will determine our next step(s).

In some cases, even deep natural pigment may also require these additional steps. Typically in cases when your desired end hair goal/Inspo is much lighter than your current natural shade.

Pro tip: Book your consult or color appt at Verabella's Salon + BB well before a big event in case we need multiple appts or a even a single lengthy hair appt along with time to review inspo pics and create the perfect plan, together in-advance and prep the perfect plan for your big hair transformation goals!

Hair color cannot lift Hair color lighter (At least not more than a shade or 2 max) If you have, Dark Box color currently and you prefer to be significantly lighter, (more than just a couple shades lighter) this is considered a Color Correction Service.

Of course depending on the desired results, mixed with your unique; Hair Texture, Density, Length and the current Health of your hair at the time of our appt.. All of these factors determine length of appt, end results & expectations-

First things first we will need to preform a Test Strand- Due to box color being highly unpredictable when lifting/removing..

This step will allow us to get a visual on how the current box color responds to our lightening agents,

& also a visual and time-line on results/ lift. We also pay close attention the the integrity of the hair during this step-
